Day 1 CANADA – LONDON, ENGLAND
Depart Calgary in the evening for our flight
to London.
Day 2 LONDON – CAPE
TOWN
Arrive London in the mid-morning. Transfer
to Holiday Inn Heathrow airport hotel for some rest. Return back
to airport in the evening for our flight to Cape Town.
Day 3
CAPE TOWN
Upon arrival at Cape Town airport, proceed through
passport control, luggage collection and customs control. Your
personal guide will be awaiting your arrival with a sign board
“Unique Golf Vacations”, and will assist with
your luggage. Transfer in a luxury coach to the Cape Town Waterfront,
where your hotel is located. After checking in you can use the
rest of the day to relax, unwind and unpack. If you feel energized
enough you can take a short walk to the shopping center at the
Waterfront.

Day 4
CAPE TOWN: CAPE OF GOOD HOPE / CAPE POINT
Depart for a full day Cape Peninsula tour. Travel
via Houtbay to the Cape of Good Hope for a visit. The journey
continues to Cape Point, often referred to as the “meeting
point” of the Indian and the Atlantic Oceans. The Cape Point
Nature Reserve was created to protect the southern most tip of
the Peninsula which is home to an assortment of indigenous fauna
and flora. A visit to the Cape Pont Ostrich Farm followed by lunch.
After lunch we continue to Simonstown, home of the South African
Navy. Close by Boulders Beach, we will stop to enjoy the African
Penguin Colony by walking along specially constructed timber walkways
to view these amazing birds in their natural environment.
Afterwards we enjoy a guided tour at the Kirstenbosch Botanical
Gardens Kirstenbosch. The garden has 9000 of the 18000
indigenous flowering plant species.

Day 5
CAPE TOWN: CITY TOUR
Golfers: Our first round of golf
will be at the Pearl Valley Golf Club. A Jack Nicklaus Signature
Golf Course, this fairly flat and largely uninterrupted terrain
enabled Nicklaus the freedom to develop hole strategies making
this a golf course the golfer has to think his/her way around.
Non Golfers: You have the morning free to enjoy
the many facets of the Waterfront.
This afternoon everybody will do a short city tour
– driving past the “Castle” (the oldest building
in SA), the Parliament Buildings, the Cape Malay Quarters en route
to the Lower Cable Station, where we will ascend the modern
Swiss-made cable car to the top of Table Mountain. Weather
permitting, it will be an experience to remember, as the view
from the mountain is quite stupendous. Should the weather be inclement,
a drive to Signal Hill will de done. The views from there are
equally astounding. Evening free.

Day 6
CAPE TOWN – STELLENBOSCH
Early departure from our hotel for a visit
to Robben Island. This three and half our tour includes
a boat trip across Table Bay. Once you are on the island you will
have the opportunity to visit the Maximum Security Prison including
Nelson Mandela’s tiny cell. The former President of South
Africa spent 18 of his 27 years of incarceration on Robben Island.
You will also interact with an ex-political prisoner and enjoy
a 45 minute bus tour with a commentating guide and then a last
possibility to explore the Murray’s Harbour precinct attractions,
including the African Penguin boardwalk and the museum shop. We
will then head north on the N1 National Road to Stellenbosch,
where we will check into the Village At Spier Hotel for the next
three nights. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the facilities

7 STELLENBOSCH: WINELANDS
Golfers: Today we will play the
3 year old De Zalza (Spier) Golf Course on the outskirts of Stellenbosch
in the Blaauwklippen Valley. This Parkland course is challenging,
with the river coming into play at most of the holes. A serene
setting with beautiful mountain views in the midst of the Winelands
makes it a truly pleasurable experience.
Non-golfers: Morning at leisure.
ALL: We proceed through the beautiful Paarl valley to
a well known wine farm for a cellar tour and a tasting of the
spectacular wines, followed by a dinner at the farm.

Day 8
STELLENBOSCH
Golfers: Today we will play the
Erinvale Golf Club. This Gary Player designed 18 hole championship
golf course has fast become renowned throughout the golfing fraternity,
both locally and abroad. This course was the site of the 1996
World Cup of Golf; and it currently hosts the annual SAA Open,
showcasing the South Africa golfing talent.

Day 9
STELLENBOSCH – GEORGE
Mornng departure for the 4,5 hour (450 km) overland
tour to Oudtshoorn and George. We will travel on the NI Northbound
National Road through the Huguenot Tunnel in the Du Toitskloof
Mountain Range. We will then drive over the scenic Outeniqua Mountains
to George – the capital of the Garden Route

GEORGE – KNYSNA - GEORGE
ALL: We depart for George Station for a
journey on a quaint steam train to the Sedgefield. The
train will venture through the breathtaking vistas of the Kaaiman’s
Bridge, to Wilderness and Sedgefield.
Golfers: This afternoon we play at the exclusive
Pezula (Sparrebosch) Golf Course. The area of this Ronald Fream
designed course is almost perfect for the creation of a championship
Scottish Highlands links style golf course. The area is covered
with beautiful varieties of indigenous fynbos and the challenging
course is largely designed by nature.
Non-golfers: After saying goodbye to our golfing
spouses, we will depart for the Knysna Lagoon
where we will board a ferry across the Lagoon to the Featherbed
Nature Reserve. Here we will experience stunning views
of Knysna, the Lagoon, the Heads and the Indian Ocean. Featherbed
is a unique 150 hectare private Nature Reserve, encompassing the
whole of the Western Head of Knysna and is one of South Africa’s
Natural Heritage Sites. The tour includes return ferry trip on
the lagoon, a tractor drawn trailer ride to the top of the reserve
and a guided nature walk.
We collect our golfing spouses and
return to our hotel in George for an evening at leisure.

Golfers: This morning we play
at the Simola Golf Course. The first Jack Nicklaus Signature course
on the Garden Route, Simola reflects the great maestro's philosophy
of attuning the layout and design to the natural lie of the land.
The Golden Bear's 18-hole championship course at Simola has been
created to challenge the professional and inspire the amateur.
Non-golfers: Take a half day tour to the beautiful
holiday resorts and beaches between George and Mossel Bay. Towns
that will be visited include Harolds Bay, Glentana, Great and
Small Brak River, Terniet, Hartenbos and Mossel Bay. At
Mossel Bay, we will visit the Old Post Office Tree and the Bartholomieus
Diaz Museum.

GEORGE – JOHANNESBURG – HAZYVIEW
This morning, after breakfast, you will
be transferred to George Airport for your flight to Johannesburg.
On route from Johannesburg, we pass through various agricultural
areas as well as numerous Coal Power Stations, before we reach
Belfast, at 2137 meters above sea level, it is recognized as the
highest intersection of railway lines in the country.

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
06:00 Early morning departure with breakfast
packs to the well known Kruger National Park, where will board
open vehicles for our full day game drive. This park
boasts the opportunity of viewing the Big Five ( Elephant, Buffalo,
Lion, Leopard and Rhino) as well as a host of other African wildlife
including wild dog, giraffe, zebra and sable antelope. The park
is almost 2 million hectares in size, supporting the greatest
variety of wildlife species on the African continent.

15 HAZYVIEW – JOHANNESBURG
This morning we travel along the picturesque
Panorama route. On the drive we will visit the Blyde River Canyon
– the world’s third largest canyon, and we will also
view Bourke’s Luck Potholes – rock formations caused
by water, God’s Window and Pilgrim’s Rest before continuing
on to Gold Reef City, Johannesburg.

JOHANNESBURG – PILANESBERG NATIONAL RESERVE
Early morning departure to Pretoria for a city
tour then continue on to the well known Pilanesberg National park
or your accommodation at Kwa Maritane “Place of the Rock”.
Kwa Maritane is nestled on the slopes of an ancient volcano, and
offers you an abundant wildlife with more than 360 bird species
and an encounter with Africa’s “Big Five”.

06:00 Open vehicle game drive in Pilanesberg
National Park. Explore a 55 000 hectare wildlife paradise

After breakfast we depart to the Sun City
Resort.
Golfers: Proceed to Sun City’s
Gary Player Golf Course. (note: this is strictly a walking
course. Caddy included.
Non golfers: Enjoy the next few hours at this amazing
resort with casino, shopping centre, theatre and other opportunities.

After breakfast we depart to the Sun City
Resort.

you will encounter crocodiles on the 13th hole!!
Non-golfers: Enjoying the next few hours at this
amazing resort with casino, shopping center, theatre, and other
opportunities or relax in the Lodge
15h00 Return to our lodge
for an afternoon game drive with our rangers.

PILANESBERG NATIONAL PARK - JOHANNESBURG
After a leisurely breakfast we bid farewell to the
African Bush and depart to Johannesburg with a enroute visit to
Lesedi Cultural Village and lunch.
Continue to Johannesburg International airport for our flights
home via London
Day 20
CANADA
Arrive into London Heathrow airport in the
early morning connecting to our lunch time flight home to Calgary.
